HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY🥳🥳 (now men, we need you too but please let us enjoy our moment🤷🏼‍♀️)

I LOVE celebrating Women because I feel we live in a society (maybe not so much anymore) but more Women are taking a stand and reaching for what they want. There's so many nods women out there running the business of their dreams and I don't think 50 years ago that was as common.

So I just want to talk about some of the women who have inspired me in my life and to give credit where it is due👏🏼 I encourage you to applaud the incredible women in your life everyday but especially today!!

So as some of you may know, I've worked in the cooperate world for 7 years and you come across some of the worst people you'll ever meet but occasionally you'll come across someone amazing! I luckily had a boss that I had the pleasure of working closely with, who showed me a whole different look on life. She's strong, she's passionate, she fights for what she believes in, she goes against the crowd and she shows a huge amount of empathy. I thank my lucky stars everyday that our paths crossed.

The next person I want to talk about is my little sister, now she is a young women now so not so little but she'll always be forever my little sister. Now I wasn't the best pleased about my mum being pregnant with my sister (awful I know) but I was 8 and my brother was 12 and I just didn't want a baby in the mix. But oh my goodness did my views change, when I was younger I probably didn't appreciate her as much because I was a child myself but the love I have for her, it's unexplainable. In a weird sense she gave me an insight in to what it'd be like to be a mother and love a tiny human so much!!

And lastly but by no means least, I want to talk about my brides!! Each and every single one give me a reason to run my business everyday! I can honestly hand on heart say I'd choose them all to be my friends. I get to talk to all different women every single day about their lives, their relationships, their big days and so much more. They each inspire me every single day and that's what I want to celebrate today!

Thank you to all of you, I could speak about so many more women in my life, family, fellow wedding suppliers, women business owners but there just wouldn't be enough words to explain how each and every single one inspire me.
